In recent years sustainability has become increasingly important. This does not only apply to the manufacturing process, but increasingly also to business processes. As a basic material, aluminium is well suited to the concept of corporate responsibility.
Aluminium does not oxidise in the same way steel does. It forms an insulating oxidation layer which guarantees that the quality of the material is preserved.
The residual value of aluminium is comparatively high. This is because recycling aluminium requires only 1/20 of the energy needed to create new aluminium. This means that 95% of the aluminium is retained in the cycle.
Enamelled or anodised aluminium requires little or no maintenance and is therefore very durable.
